So, last year I did a bit of traveling and in every new town, I wondered what to do with the few hours I had to myself apart from getting some sleep. Well, for all those coming to Kenya’s Capital on business, here are some of the things you could do.
A Nairobi Tour
Fun fact, Nairobi has a National Park in the City! Yes, lions have their own space to walk as they please in a certain space within the City! Speak to your host or I could recommend one. Be sure to enjoy an early morning Game drive.
If you have a lot more time, you could continue your day and head on to The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, which is a haven for elephant orphans ( You could adopt one you Know). After Which you could go kiss a Giraffe at the Giraffe Centre.
For Lunch, you have a Variety of Options to Choose from! If I was your Guide, Tamarind Restaurant, Roast by Carnivore and Picazzo would be my first suggestions. But, believe me, whatever your palate desires, Nairobi has a restaurant for it.
The Nairobi National Museum is also a beautiful way to spend your afternoon as you learn a bit of Kenyan History.
And to end the day, enjoy some traditional Dances at The Bomas of Kenya.
Adrenaline Pumping Activities out of the city
We in Kenya Like to have fun! A trip out of the City’s hustle and bustle would be a nice refresher before you get back into the board room. Situated in the heart of the Aberdare Ranges is the Kereita Forest. The Forest is a beautiful place to enjoy such activities. Some of the Activities here include Archery, Mountain biking, Fly fishing, Horse riding & Footgolf.
